Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism - CTPAT - Program Notification

Date
Aug 29, 2023

On August 22, 2023, BNSF received a notification indicating our voluntary participation in the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) program has been temporarily suspended for 90 days. BNSF customers participating in the program were notified of our status change when the suspension was issued.

This does not impact BNSF customs bond status, required customs documentation, or clearance processes. BNSF will continue to follow our approved security procedures for inspection at borders and ports and we do not anticipate any delays in our operations.

Additional information about the CTPAT program may be found on the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s website here

Your business is important to us, and we thank you for choosing BNSF as your service transportation provider.
